Oh hi, remember me? I used to blog here.
Holy crap, I feel like I've been gone forever. My new laptop charger FINALLY arrived on Saturday... Thanks for nothing, Amazon, and your non-existant selection of Prime-shipping-eligible chargers.
Of course, on Saturday we were also throwing some little party for someone who recently had a birthday (hmm who could that be?) and then Sunday E and I had lunch with some friends who were still in town from her party, I had photos to edit from a friend's session and from E's party, and THEN we had church obligations, so I haven't had much time to sit down to blog!
(Oh, and also, one other thing happened... S and I HAD SEX!!!! :-D)
So yeah, lots to update you all on and so much to write about. I promise to start writing and catching you up over the next few days. Stay tuned!

One
My little E is officially one year old today. I absolutely cannot believe she has been with us for an entire year already! And what an amazing year it has been.
This time last year, S and I were recovering from E's whirlwind delivery and marveling at the perfect little being we had created. (I shared her birth story on my old blog here.) Now, one year has passed and we continue to be amazed by her every single day. We are so proud of the little person she is becoming, and are so thankful we were chosen to be her parents.
Happy birthday, my sweet girl!

Two Weeks
Two weeks from today is my little girl's first birthday party.
Twelve days from today, she will actually BE one year old.
* SOB *
How did my tiny newborn become a little person so quickly? She is so big and so amazing, and it seems like she learns awesome new things constantly. She is so incredibly smart. And is the sweetest baby I have ever met.
Scratch that, she's not a baby any more. * cue more tears *
Today, me and my sweet girl are going to go have lunch with S (12 hours of on-call at the hospital for him today, yuck!), then are going to run some final errands for her birthday party. Her invites went out last week, the giraffe-print paper plates we ordered arrived a few days ago, now we just need to order balloons and collect a few final supplies and we will be set.
I can't believe her birthday is almost here!
