I havent read your comments on your last post, but have you tried a humidifier? Not a silent one, but one that actually makes some good white noise? Since Sully spent his first days in Children's, I think he was used to noise and I don't think he sleeps well in the silence. He sleeps with a fairly "loud" (by humidifier standards) humidifier in his room.
